The excellent customer service skills from each and every member I came into contact with. starting with the lovely warm welcome as i booked at reception. To the lady who cleaned the rooms. She was so lovely, I had mistakenly put the wrong sign on the door. I had put on the one to get the room cleaned instead of "Do not disturb", she was genuinely concerned that i had been booked into a room that hadn't been cleaned. It had been, it was delightfully clean. I know how hard it is to do their job as i have worked in the hospitality business in hotels & holiday camps previously. To the lovely warm reception when i went into the breakfast room in the morning. I had a fitful sleep. Absolutely outstandingly customer service. Most of all, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had staying in hotels. Very good quality, massive selection & omg the coffee, nice & strong, food was a great selection, hot, very well cooked by the chef. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn too at Middlesbrough, their hotel pales in comparison to yours. Occasionally I stay over in Middlesbrough as I commute to work by train. I recommend everyone to go to events at Middlesbrough Town Hall then stay over at Leonardo. Leonardo has upgraded the hotel from the previous owner & improved the car park. Absolutely love the mural on the wall. Brings colour to an urban town.

The breakfast was excellent, my daughter and her friend had full tummies. What we loved most about this hotel is the pool, the girls had Great fun spending hours there on both days of our 1 night stay, next the location is perfect for families as the cinema is practically on the doorstep as are McDonald's etc. Level X is a short walk away & Albert park is just a bus ride away. This was a mini break for my daughter & her friend (both 12) as I don't get many weekends off work, couldn't have enjoyed it more! The room was immaculate, beds extremely comfy although it was very hot in the room through the night that is the only very minor downside, the staff were extremely helpful and nice, TV in room lovely and big, we enjoyed watching TV altogether in bed at the end of the day. Really I have nothing at all negative to say about this Hotel.

Needed a hotel with a central location and the Leonardo met all expectations with safe parking a bonus. 5th floor room which was well appointed. Did not intend to have breakfast but did and it was excellent with a wide choice of quality products and I would suppose the food would be as good in the evening. The staff were all friendly and engaging.

We had dinner on our first night, it was really nice, the staff were really friendly & helpful with my granddaughter's nut allergy, they also made some good cocktails for the adults. The staff in the morning at breakfast were really friendly too, there was a good choice of food too. The location is perfect for the town center.

Good location, near station and bars. Boro a decent place for real ale, if you’re prepared to walk (or taxi). Room great. Staff all excellent. Kettle in room. Breakfast paid for the night before good value. Plenty of choice. Eggs cooked well. Too early to check in but easily stored our luggage securely.
